COVID-19 UPDATES | WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN JOINING US FOR DINNER OR A STAY.

Klippers Organic Acres, Row Fourteen restaurant, and the guest suites are committed to the health and safety of our guests, staff, and farmers. We will do the very best with the implementation of safe and sanitary practices while consistently striving to exceed our own standards for a healthy and productive work environment.

With guidelines set forth by Interior Health, Worksafe BC, and the BC Restaurant & Food Services Association, we are implementing the following procedures:

OUR STAFF

- Staff members will be evaluated by management and required to follow the protocols listed below:

- All staff members will have their temperatures taken before starting work.

- All staff will be educated on COVID-19 protocols and procedures.

- All staff follow proper hand cleaning practices and follow hourly guidelines, before and after activities such as: using the restroom, cleaning, eating, before and after beginning their shifts.

- All staff will wear appropriate PPE, and are trained on proper use and disposal of that PPE.
- Masks have been provided to all employees.
- Housekeepers are required to wear masks and gloves while cleaning the guest suites.

SAFETY PROTOCOLS

- We will continue to practice social distancing by maintaining a 6-foot distance from our guests.

- Guests will be required to wear a mask upon arrival to the restaurant and keep their mask on until they are seated in the dining room. Guests are also required to wear a mask, and practice social distancing at all times during their visit, apart from when they are seated at their table. This does include wearing a mask when using the restroom facilities.

- Staff will not be permitted to directly touch guests, or their belongings, under any circumstance including common gestures, receiving hats, coats, mobile phones, masks, etc.

- Hand Sanitizer will be available upon request at all times.

- We have limited the number of guests to a maximum occupancy of 48 individuals within our restaurant, and 32 individuals on our patio.

- If your party is early for your reservation, we ask that you please wait outside, and remain appropriately distanced from others who are not with your party. We politely ask you to wear a mask and sanitize your hands upon entering Row Fourteen at our outdoor sanitizing station.

- - -

Please follow physical distancing guidelines at all times during your visit. All tables have been separated by two-meters, and no more than 6 individuals per table. Tables are not to be moved, and we ask that your children please remain seated.

It is also mandatory that one person in your party leaves their contact info, should we need to contact you for any reason.

Our staff takes your health, and our own, very seriously. Single-use menus will be provided, and recycled.

We have implemented an hourly cleaning regime, along with deep cleaning/sanitizing of all tables and chairs after each seating.

SUITES

Multi-use and unnecessary items and amenities have been removed from guest rooms.

Housekeeping will be limited during our guest's stay.

We will not replace guest linens unless requested.

Proven cleaning and sanitizing protocols will be put in place to clean guest rooms, with particular attention paid to high-touch items such as light switches.

All bed linens and laundry will be washed at a high temperature.

In the case of a presumptive COVID-19 positive guest, the guest’s room will be removed from service, quarantined, and the room will not return to service until the case is confirmed or cleared.

In the event of a positive case, the room will only return to service after undergoing an enhanced sanitization protocol and a 72 hour period.

Please be respectful to others and our staff at all times. We are adapting our business for your safety, well-being and theirs. We greatly appreciate your patience, cooperation and understanding in this "new normal."

We'll start off by saying that as grocery prices continue to increase, our CSA rates have remained unchanged. We understand that many households are feeling financial strain, and the last thing we want to do is contribute to this. Taking part in Community Supported Agriculture allows individuals and families to buy directly from local farmers, providing a variety of fresh, seasonal produce that is healthier for you, the planet, and your budget - which is particularly important right now. Furthermore, we'd like to highlight that although our CSA rates are based on $30/week (small) and $50/week (large), we always provide more than this.
